SZN was started as way of expressing my personal philosophy of logical simplicity. To cloth and to comfort while not impacting the environment. This is done through reductive pattern making which considers a broad size range, longevity, wear and wash, while maximising each textile’s potential. Wearers of SZN appreciate its intelligent design which considers comfort as both physical and emotional.

What do you want your brand to contribute to the conversation around ethical fashion?

That the time and contemplation that is given to design, researching materials, alternative pattern-making and local production is worth investing in; by every customer, through government support and the industry at large. SZN as a micro to small business can make a positive impact. There are many ways to participate in the industry, and a diverse approach enhances the strength of the industry as a whole.
